Research Computing
Consulting, server hosting, system administration, and data storage are available to support computationally intensive research computing. A centrally managed, high-density data center provides safe, secure, and reliable server hosting and a 10 GB network connection to the campus backbone. Access to research services and equipment is aided by a web based facilities management system.
The Shared Scientific Facilities Management (SSFM) system is a web application that provides Stanford researchers and outside institutions a centralized marketplace and billing system for scientific services and equipment available on campus.
