Each apartment has one assigned parking space in an under-building parking garage, and there is additional uncovered parking readily available. Stanford provides wireless internet and basic phone service with free calls within the continental United States. Login credentials will be provided at time of check-in.

Complex Rules and Regulations

This complex is not owned or operated by the University. Anyone staying at Oak Creek through this program will have to sign additional paperwork and agree to abide by the rules of the complex, and every adult staying there will need to read through (but not sign) the Oak Creek lease paperwork, which includes all lease terms and regulations. The complex has strict guidelines regarding noise.

Apartment Configuration

Each apartment has two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen.  Bathrooms include tub/shower combinations.

Furnishings

Each bedroom has an extra-long single bed, a bookcases, desk, desk chair, and dresser.  The living room has a sofa, coffee table, dining table, dining chairs, and an extra desk. Televisions and decorations are not provided.

Kitchens

The kitchen has a stove, oven, dishwasher, disposal, and refrigerator. Kitchen supplies, including flatware and utensils, are NOT provided. Complex offers free Continental breakfasts for residents on Sunday mornings.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping service is NOT included in the apartment rate, and cleaning supplies are not provided. Cleaning supplies may be purchased on campus at Tresidder Express, a small convenience store on the first floor of Tresidder Memorial Union or at the Safeway on Sharon Park Drive off of Sand Hill Road (in Menlo Park).

Linen Services

Twin bed linen packs consist of towels (a bath towel and a face towel), two flat sheets, a pillow, a pillow case, and a blanket. They can be rented for $56. Linen can be requested ahead of time through the on-line housing application or rented through the Conference Front Deck (CFD) upon arrival. Payment for linen rental will be required at check-in.

Parking Permits

Parking permits are required for on-campus parking. If you plan to drive to campus from Oak Creek during the day, Stanford residential parking permits may be requested ahead of time through the on-line housing application or can be purchased from the CFD upon arrival. Daily Conference Parking Scratchers are $4.50/day and Monthly Parking Permits are $29. Only daily permits can be ordered online. Monthly permits can be purchased in person at the Conference Front Desk. At the Oak Creek complex there is one assigned garage space per apartment, and you will be issued an Oak Creek parking permit, in the form of a rear-view-mirror hanger. There is additional unassigned, uncovered parking available at Oak Creek.

Laundry Facilities

A laundry room is located on the fourth floor of each building. If you will need to do laundry during your stay, you will need to purchase a laundry card through Oak Creek, available at the Clubhouse.

Key Agreements

We do not require visitors to pay a deposit upon receiving room keys. However, you will be required to accept liability for misplaced keys. In the event that keys are not returned, you will be billed for the cost of rekeying the apartment.

Fees and Payments

There is a $35 application processing fee. Balances due for lodging fees, processing fee, and any items ordered (linen packs or parking permits) are required to be paid upon check-in at the CFD. We accept MasterCard, Visa or cash for payment. We do not accept checks or any other credit cards.

Liability Waiver

All guests staying in housing through Stanford Conferences must submit a completed Liability Waiver Form upon check-in. Please complete the form and have it available at check-in.

Conference Front Desk and Check-In Information

You must arrive on campus during normal working hours (by 8 pm). Check-in is from 1 pm to 8 pm at the Conference Front Desk.

After checking in at the CFD, you will need to stop by the Oak Creek leasing office to sign additional paperwork and to have your photo taken for an Oak Creek ID card. This Oak Creek ID card will give you access to the swimming pools, clubhouse, exercise facilities, and any activities sponsored by Oak Creek. If you check in at the CFD after 5 pm, you will have to go to the Oak Creek leasing office the following day.

The CFD is open from 8 am - 8 pm daily to assist guests with check-in/check-out, campus information, sale of parking permits and assistance with room lock-outs.

Early Check-Out

The minimum reservation is for 21 nights. If your reservation was for more than 21 nights, you may shorten your stay as long as the 21-night minimum is met and a minimum of 48 hours notice is given. If you wish to check out early, please contact the CFD.

Check-Out Information

Check-out is by 11 am. You will check out at the CFD. You are not considered checked out until all of your belongings are removed from the apartment and your keys, Oak Creek parking permit, and Oak Creek ID card are returned to the Conference Front Desk. If you return these items when the CFD is not open, please return them in an envelope marked with your name, apartment number, and the date. The envelope should be placed in the drop-box for the CFD.

Campus Transportation

Campus shuttle service (known as "the Marguerite”) is available on weekdays, 6 am - 8 pm. No weekend service is provided. The Marguerite shuttle does not go directly to Oak Creek, but stops approximately two blocks from the complex. For Marguerite information and updates, please consult your Front Desk or visit the Parking and Transportation Services web site.
