Center for Academic Medicine (CAM) Project parking permit designation changes
Effective Oct. 1, 2017, construction on the Center for Academic Medicine will impact parking designations at the Hoover Pavilion Garage and Lots 1, 2 and 3 on Quarry Road.

Serra Street construction impacts
Various construction projects on East Campus are affecting traffic and parking on Serra Street between El Camino Real and Galvez Street. Projects include East Campus utility and road work, the Escondido Village Graduate Residences project, the installation of a roundabout on Serra Street at Campus Drive, and construction on Pampas Lane.
Impacts will take place in phases, with stretches of Serra Street affected at different times for different projects.
Marguerite bus stops and routes may be affected. Please visit the Marguerite section of our site for updates.
Parking will be affected for ‘A’-permit holders, ‘EA’-permit holders, visitors and event attendees, and Schwab and Highland Hall move-ins.
Impacts on Serra Street between Campus Drive and Galvez Street include intermittent closures of 29 ‘EA’ or ‘A’ spaces, 12 ‘A’ spaces, 3 metered spaces, 5 loading zones, and 3 Zipcar spaces. Zipcar spaces by the Schwab Residential Center were temporarily relocated but have returned to their original location as of 8/23/17. These Zipcars are not expected to relocate in the near term. Impacts in the area are expected through mid-September 2017.

Roble Drive 'A'-permit parking closures
Effective July 31, 2017, all 'A'-permit parking on Roble Drive will permanently close for the Santa Teresa sanitary sewer replacement and Roble Drive pedestrian mall conversion projects.

- Mayfield Avenue & Lomita Drive

Escondido Village Graduate Residences project
Construction on the Escondido Village Graduate Residences will create parking impacts for residents and commuters on East Campus, as well as alter Marguerite bus stops and the flow of traffic. Impacts are projected from spring 2017 to fall 2020.

Jordan Quad parking lot space removals
Effective October 31, 2016: Most of the Jordan Quad parking lot (L-21) will close due to the construction of a new ChEM-H/Neuro building (housing Stanford Chemistry, Engineering & Medicine for Human Health and Stanford Neurosciences Institute).

PS-4 impacts to parking near the Medical Center
- Effective Oct. 31, 2012, Parking Structure 4 (PS-4) at Pasteur Drive closed to commuter parking and became a patient and visitor parking garage.
- Hundreds of ‘A’ permit holders moved from PS-4 to park in other west campus lots and structures, including PS-1 (Campus Dr. and Roth Way); PS-5, Lots 17 and 18 (Stock Farm, Oak, and Welch Roads); PS-9 (Hoover Pavilion Garage), and Lots 1, 2, and 3 (Quarry Rd).
- Currently, the hospital offers attendant-assisted parking in the Hoover Pavilion South lot [L-1].
