Body as Text
Overview
Body as Text refers to the idea that every patient's body tells a powerful story about the patient's socio-medical condition, past and present. This course aims to introduce medical students to the art of the clinical exam and the importance of developing a clinical eye, both of which can be forgotten in today's increasingly high-tech medical fields. The course consists of patient narratives, lectures, and hands-on demonstrations.
