About the Chief of Staff and Assistant Vice Provost

The Chief of Staff and Assistant Vice Provost (AVP) for Strategy & Assessment provides leadership for strategic planning, communications, organizational effectiveness, development, assessment and process improvement initiatives. The AVP organizes and oversees complex, high-visibility and high-impact projects spanning multiple and disparate departments across the university in support of Student Affairs' mission of educating students to make meaningful contributions as citizens of a complex world.  Work is performed in close collaboration with the Vice Provost of Student Affairs and the Student Affairs Executive Group.
