School of Medicine Career Center

The Career Center is a resource for every student, providing information on career options, development of professional skill sets, and opportunities and connections for trainees. Students are aided in defining their individual passions and goals, as well as how they hope to impact others, regardless of external expectations of career choice. Their offerings include:

  • One-on-one career counseling: Speaking with an adviser in a confidential setting can help you clarify priorities, define goals, prepare credentials (e.g. CV/résumé, cover letter, teaching/research statements), and organize your individualized development and transition.
  • Curriculum: Alumni, faculty, and experts from various sectors partner with Career Center staff to provide education on general career exploration, job-application strategy, and targeted skill development.
  • Career and professional-development resources: Our library and online resources provide information about various career options and connections to alumni, partners, and job opportunities.
