We welcome gifts of any kind that we can use to further the teaching and research mission of the department. Every dollar contributed to the department has an impact.
At present, we are using directed gifts for these purposes:
-
Graduate fellowships for students in all areas of study – these allow us to attract the best minds to our department, whatever their personal circumstances.
-
Unrestricted gifts – used to support innovations in teaching, capital improvements, student activities and undergraduate summer research fellowships.
-
Additional department funding priorities include:
- Support for undergraduate education, including curriculum development and lab equipment
- Student class costs, including field trips and lab supplies
- Student awards
- Student events
To give directly to the department, select the type of gift and method of payment from the online giving screen, and then select Electrical Engineering from the drop-down Engineering Fund menu.
Philanthropic support is essential to our mission to create dynamic students who are not just engineers, but are also athletes, mentors, or musicians. Regardless of where you direct your generosity – from fellowships to research facilities to student programs – we thank you for your investment as we educate the next generation of engineering leaders.
