Full-Time Master of Science

The Master of Science (MS) degree program in Electrical Engineering is a course-based program that provides advanced preparation for professional practice or for teaching at the junior college level. Completion of the program requires 45 units of coursework, and it takes 1.5 to 3 years on average for students to complete the program.

The department does not prescribe specific courses to be taken but it does provide guidelines for acceptable programs. Each student, with the help of a faculty advisor, prepares an individual program of study. There is no thesis requirement.
