The Coordinator of the Civic Space Monitor will provide leadership to CIVICUS’ quest to measure the state of civic space around the world in real time. S/he will be responsible for honing CIVICUS’ existing research methodologies to measure civic space and gauge the pulse of civil society leaders. The incumbent will oversee the working of a small team of researchers responsible for tracking civil society environments around the world. S/he will also engage with a diverse range of actors and members of the CIVICUS alliance to advance CIVICUS’ key mandate to strengthen civil society around the globe especially in areas where civic space is threatened.
