Thank you for your interest in becoming an Associate member of CIVICUS.  By joining, you will become a key stakeholder of the CIVICUS alliance.
Please be aware that there are two types of membership: 

•Associate member, a free lifetime basic membership. It will entitle all rights reserved to members except for the voting powers, the right to stand in CIVICUS Board and few special benefits reserved for the voting members category.
•Individual Voting member,  a paid upgraded membership status only valid for individuals who have made a significant contribution to civil society. You will have the right to vote for our Board members and nominate a candidate to serve as a member of our Board of Directors. Special benefits will also apply to this category. Please note that the voting status requires  paid up membership fees. In case the due fees are not paid, your status will be downgraded to associate member. 

•Should you wish to upgrade your status from associate to voting member you can do so anytime by contacting     membership@civicus.org.
