Sustainable Development 2015 (SD2015) is a multi-stakeholder engagement programme run by CIVICUS in collaboration with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), to facilitate civil society participation in the UN process to agree a new set of global goals to eradicate poverty, commonly known as the post-2015 development agenda.
SD2015 provides tools and opportunities for all stakeholders to input to this munumental process through five focus areas: raising awareness; increasing engagement; empowering stakeholders; coordinating advocacy; and strengthening governance. For more information and to access capacity building resources visit www.SD2015.org.
SD2015 is also supporting 12 partners to develop national level advocacy plans for influencing the post-2015 development agenda.
SD2015 is undertaken with the financial support of the European Union.
This e-newsletter will share with you the latest updates on our SD2015 projects and the most recent information on different post-2015 activities and processes.
