What we do
The Operator Services Contact Center (OSC) is a 24/7/365 call center that answers main listed directory numbers for Stanford University, Stanford Hospital and Clinics, Stanford School of Medicine, and Stanford Children's Health. The OSC staff handles dispatching for emergency code calls at the Hospitals, provides overhead paging services, after-hours on-call paging for Hospital clinics, and provides communication services to support disaster response for the University and Healthcare campus. The OSC is the ultimate way to connect to someone at Stanford.
During evening, weekend, and holiday hours, the OSC also answers calls for assistance and referral relating to Residential and Dining Enterprises, environmental health and safety, organ offerings, body donations, CATH team, Dialysis and Transplant Services, and The Faculty Club. In times of natural or other disasters, the OSC is an Emergency Operational Center for the Hospitals and University.
