Google Sites lets you quickly create a simple website without any knowledge of HTML. You can work alone or with others to create a Google site.
Google provides Stanford with 100 GB of quota, which is shared by all sites created under Google Apps at Stanford. Therefore, we recommend storing large files in Google Drive and then linking to those files from Google Sites. See the instructions for how to share something from your Google Drive for more information.
Google Sites is not appropriate for departmental websites. See Stanford Sites for a recommended alternative.
