Acquisitions Department is pleased to welcome Yael Hod as the new Ordering Specialist for Judaica and Hebraica Resources.

In addition to Judaica and Hebraica materials, Yael will be responsible for ordering resources in the subject areas of American & British Literature, Performing Arts, Philosophy, Linguistics, and General Reference. 

Yael has recently worked at Oshman Family Jewish Community Center, where she managed the campus library. She previously worked as a Librarian at Netanya Academic College in Israel, where she was involved with acquisitions, cataloging, collection development, and reference services.

She has a BA degree in History, and an LIS degree from the University of Haifa. She is currently pursuing her MLIS degree at San Jose State University, and expecting to graduate in 2017.
