The Welcome Center serves all benefits-eligible staff, including bargaining unit and academic staff.
Eligibility Criteria
The Welcome Center is:
- Only open to new staff hires whose first day at work is on the day of a Welcome Center orientation - generally Mondays.*
- For benefits-eligible new staff hires only, not for benefits-eligible transferring employees
- Not appropriate for faculty or contingent workers (temp/casual)
- Not appropriate for Hospital employees
- Only open to new hires who have completed a Stanford background check
Note
When Monday is a university holiday, Welcome Center will be held on the following business day.
