CIFE iRoom

The CIFE iRoom is a flexible multi-user interactive meeting and classroom space.  It consists of a single large room that may be divided into two smaller spaces, along with four smaller breakout rooms.  Each room is equipped with three large touch screen displays, along with web cameras and microphones.  Please contact Teddie Guenzer for scheduling and access.

Audio and Video Conferencing

Stanford offers BlueJeans audio/video conferencing service to all faculty, staff, and students with a full-service SUNet ID at no cost.  This self-service, high-definition audio and video conferencing service lets you join a conference from your browser, iPhone or Android mobile device, or standards based room system.  It allows up to 100 participants in a meeting, both inside and outside Stanford.  Visit this page for more information.

Computing Facilities

In addition to touch screen display equipped computers, CIFE has a set of desktop workstations equipped with a variety of CAD and BIM software for use by faculty and students.  To support research activities, CIFE also has a 128 core high-performance computing cluster, as well as dedicated servers for database, web, and file access.  Contact Marc Ramsey for further information.

Stanford Sites

The Stanford Sites self-service website tool allows Stanford community members to build and manage websites for their University work. Websites are hosted on a dedicated Drupal infrastructure optimized for performance, easy maintenance, and community-requested features. Stanford Sites is available to current faculty, staff, and students to use free of charge and requires little technical expertise.
