Determining FRIP Status

There are two questions to ask an emeritus faculty member who wishes to be recalled:

  1. Did you retire under FRIP?
    1. If the answer is "No", process a regular (non-FRIP) recall.
    2. If the answer is "Yes", ask the next question:
  2. Which "version" of FRIP did you retire under - Old, Transitional, or New?

(If the faculty member does not know the answer to this question, ask for the date of their retirement instead.) Use the following chart to determine whether further recalls are possible:

If your faculty member... FRIP Version Their recall availability is...

Retired after 3/15/10 (and/or anounced retirement after 8/31/09)
