  1. Can I use the VTA’s name or Logo?
    No, VTA’s and logo are trademarked by VTA and may not be used in your application. We only allow our logo or name to be used by products created by VTA.
  2. Are you charging money for VTA’s data?
    No, there is no cost to the use the GTFS. We offer the data without warranty as well, so be sure to read the Terms of Use before you start using it.
  3. How will I know if VTA’s data changes?
    We will send out electronic notification when our data changes, so be sure to sign up by clicking the blue envelope icon on the right side of the page toward the top. In fact, many VTA web pages have this option, and you can sign up to any number of them
  4. What is GTFS?
    GTFS stands for General Transit Feed Specification. It is a standardized format for transit data that many agencies use. You can find out more about it at http://code.google.com/transit/spec/transit_feed_specification.html
  5. Will you help me trouble shoot?
    Sorry, we don’t have the resources to help you trouble shoot your code of the GTFS. We work hard to ensure the GTFS data is clean, but if you find an error, please let us know at customer.service@vta.org

Construction Wrapping Up: Construction on the Mountain View Light Rail Double Track Project is almost complete.
