Executive Assistant, Chief Administrative Officer
Amita is the executive assistant to the chief administrative officer and provides additional support to the foundation's human resources, finance, technology, and grants administration teams.
Prior to joining the foundation, she spent 3.5 years working as a junior accountant and executive assistant at Sequoia Capital, a venture capital firm in Menlo Park. While there, she worked in accounts payable and also supported the CFO, VP of Finance, controllers, and a former general partner/U.S. ambassador to Portugal.
Amita is an emergency responder for the town of Los Altos Hills through the County Fire Department’s CERT program and regularly volunteers at community events. She spends a majority of her spare time volunteering as a farm ambassador/animal helper at Hidden Villa in Los Altos Hills and is part of their trail maintenance crew. She is also actively training and conditioning in Muay Thai Kickboxing.
