Erin
Dovichin

Program Officer, Wild Salmon Ecosystems

Erin is responsible for the foundation’s investments in wild salmon ecosystem conservation in Alaska.

Prior to joining the foundation, Erin was the associate state director for The Nature Conservancy in Alaska, where she oversaw the state conservation programs, including shaping wild salmon conservation efforts in the Tongass, Bristol Bay and the Matanuska-Susitna watersheds. She has extensive experience in convening and facilitating diverse stakeholders in seeking collaborative solutions to high-conflict, natural resource management issues.

Erin was recognized as one of the top 40 Alaskans Under 40 by the Alaska Journal of Commerce. Her writing has appeared in venues such as Best of the Fiction Workshops, A Journey for All Seasons: A Cross-Country Celebration of the Natural World and the Pittsburgh New Works Festival.  

Erin received her B.A. in American studies and English from Dickinson College and an M.F.A. in creative writing and literary arts from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
