Hydrogen Fueling Stations
This program is designed to reduce air pollution by providing funding to incentivize the deployment of new hydrogen fueling stations that will support the adoption of zero-emissions hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the Bay Area.
Up to $500,000 is available in fiscal year ending (FYE) 2016.
In FYE 2015, the Air District awarded nearly $2.2 million in TFCA funding for projects that will involve the installation of 12 new hydrogen fueling stations in the region.
This program closed on January 4, 2016. Completed applications will be evaluated and ranked, and a Notice of Determination will be made in late February 2016.
Eligibility
Both public and non-public entities are eligible to apply for funds. Proposed stations must be located within the Air District’s jurisdiction and must have received either a passing score or approval for funding from a state or federal agency.
