Because copyright is so deeply entwined with what we do here at Stanford, it is important that everyone in our community have a working understanding of the laws and regulations under which we all must operate. We strongly encourage you to read through this document again this year, to refresh your memory, and perhaps notice something that you missed in past years.

The Copyright Reminder highlights common campus copyright concerns, and outlines the fundamental elements of US copyright law that apply in those situations.
