"While uptake has been disappointing, researchers have been keen to use the [Stanford Digital] repository to store theses and supplementary data," said Cramer. "Usage is increasing organically, as researchers realize the benefits of using the repository. We are also adding more functionality and funders are also starting to require the storage of data and research outputs."
