Beth Williams was appointed director of Stanford Law School’s Robert Crown Law Library effective in August. She comes to Stanford from Louisiana State University Law Center, where she was director of the law library and information services from 2011 to 2015.

Previously, she worked at Columbia Law School for six years, where she served as head of public services and taught legal research. She also held an appointment as lecturer at Columbia University, teaching graduate courses in information and digital archive management.
