Scope of Work 3155 Porter Drive
Departments/Programs: The School of Medicine completed a major remodel of 3155 Porter Drive to accommodate space and program for the following Departments:
- Canary Center for Early Cancer Detection Program
- Department of Radiology
- Genetics Department Gene Sequencing Core
- HLA (human leukocyte antigens) - Histocompatibility, Immunogenetics and Disease Profiling Laboratory
- Center for Sleep Sciences and Medicine
- Comparative Medicine
The building, formerly occupied by Stems Cells, Inc, is a two story, 69,000 GSF, laboratory building built in 1977. The renovation project was the second major renovation of the building. The scope included an upgrade of the existing laboratories and all of the mechanical systems along with a refresh the finishes throughout.
