Scope of Work

The Stanford School of Medicine (SoM) has moved forward with the construction of the C. J. Huang Building located at 780 Welch Road in Palo Alto. This building is designed as a multi-tenant Medical Office Building with office suites comprised of private offices, open work areas, and shared conference rooms. The C. J. Huang Building will be anchored by the Asian Liver Center, the nation’s first nonprofit dedicated to fighting the high incidence of Hepatitis B and liver cancer in Asians and Asian Americans. Additionally, the building will support critical clinical research in cancer, dermatology, neurology, pediatrics, psychiatry, medicine, and cardiothoracic surgery. The C. J. Huang Building is seen as a partner building to the Freidenrich Center for Translational Research located at 800 Welch Road and the connective elements were designed by looking at the parking and landscaping opportunities.
