Miller Library Reading Room with new light fixtures

The Miller Library had its 14 "salad bowl" lamps replaced.  The lamps needed to be replaced because of frayed wiring, and Stanford used this opportunity to replace the incandescent fixtures with ones using compact fluorescent bulbs that are more energy efficient.

The new lights are also significantly brighter.
