SUL’s very own, Heidi Lerner, Metadata Librarian for Hebraica and Judaica, is the recipient of this year’s Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL) Life Membership Award. The AJL award is granted in recognition of outstanding leadership and professional contributions to the Association and to the profession of Jewish librarianship. The awards committee noted Heidi's longtime involvement in the profession as well as the many important contributions on Hebraica/Judaica cataloging matters that she’s made.

Heidi’s work at SUL began about twenty-five years ago, and her supervisors concur that this is a well-deserved honor to a fabulous person!
