Having served Stanford University Libraries and the Hoover Institution Library for more than twenty-seven years, Olga Katz will be retiring next week.

Olga began in Readers’ Services in Hoover Library in 1987, working at the Loan Desk and Interlibrary Loan. When she was transferred to Green Library, first half-time and then full-time, she worked in both Interlibrary Services and Current Periodicals in the Information Center. She trained the ILL/RLCP staff in the investigation of serial titles, was the team leader for an audit of the IC collection, and helped in other important projects. She also kept our department running by ordering departmental supplies, accessioning and transferring IC materials, and she graciously filled in wherever she was needed. Her dedication was accompanied by flexibility and a sense of humor.

We wish her every happiness in her retirement. We will miss her very much.
