I am pleased to announce that Tim Noakes is the new Public Services Manager for Special Collections & University Archives starting May 6, 2013. Tim has replaced Polly Armstrong who retired last month. Tim has worked for Special Collections since 1987 except for a four year stint with the Department of Special Collections at the University of Virginia.

For the last two years, Tim has worked part-time for Henry Lowood and Annette Keogh as their curatorial assistant. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and will receive his MLA from Stanford this June.

You can find Tim in the Field Reading Room, and his phone number is 650-725-1033. Please join me in congratulating Tim on his new position.
