Books in Green Library

SFGate published a slideshow and review of Robert Dawson’s The Public Library: A Photographic Essay (Princeton Architectural Press, 2014). Dawson, an instructor of photography at San Jose State and Stanford, wrote, “In a culture that is increasingly privatized, libraries are among the last free spaces we have left. Public libraries are worth fighting for, and this book is my way of fighting.”

See the slideshow and read the review, ‘The Public Library’: a photo gallery.
