Friday, May 8 marks the day when members of the Stanford community come together for the ninth Annual Cardinal Walk, a 1.5 mile journey around our scenic campus. Faculty, staff and students are all invited to take a break in their workday and join other members of the Stanford community to celebrate the strong culture of wellness at Stanford.

This year's Cardinal Walk will begin at the Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation (ASCR), on the Erickson Courts, at 11:30 a.m. with pre-walk festivities, and then walkers will travel around the campus until 1 p.m.

Event schedule:
11:30 a.m. – Music and light refreshments. All participants receive a free Cardinal Walk T-shirt
12:00 p.m. – Walk begins

Last year, 1700 members of the Stanford community came out to celebrate wellness and enjoy the event.

This year’s theme is Flashback Fitness. Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and can come dressed in their favorite throwback exercise clothing. Themed clothing is optional, but the top outfits will win an Amazon gift card.

If you are on-campus, take the Marguerite shuttle, or “warm up” by walking to the event. If you are off-campus, take advantage of the free parking available in the dirt parking lot next to Stanford Stadium.

This is a free, family-friendly event with no required registration.
