Stanford has partnered with Included Health (formerly known as Grand Rounds) to provide 24/7 unbiased phone support for you and your family.

This team of experts specializes in helping you understand and navigate the complex health care system with the information and tools you need to make good decisions about your health.

In 2022, employees enrolled in a high deductible health plan will have access to year-round advocacy services.

If you are enrolled in the Healthcare + Savings HDHP or ACA Basic HDHP, you have 24/7 access to health advocacy services. By making Included Health your first call, you can access a physician-led care team who will provide resources and expert advice you need to make good health care decisions and save money throughout the year, including:

  • Locating trusted, in-network doctors and highly rated facilities
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating care
  • Connecting you to experts for a second medical opinion to confirm your diagnosis and treatment plan
  • Researching and resolving billing issues 
  • Tracking health care spending 
  • Getting answers to complex medical questions
  • Receiving education on medical conditions and treatments

Advocacy 24/7 live support for help with navigating health care benefits, researching and resolving billing issues, pre- and post-appointment prep and more. During Open Enrollment, you can also receive care team support to help explain insurance changes and benefits information.

Financial Toolkit in the App A set of tools, right in the app to help you understand and plan for the costs associated with receiving care, including plan details, claims history, cost transparency, deductible tracking.
