Overview
Carmel the Village Apartments are available as a full-year option for single graduate students. Single graduate students are assigned to two-bedroom, two-bath units; each two-bedroom apartment houses two students. Apartments are furnished by the University.
Carmel the Village is a new apartment complex in a mixed-use development, conveniently located at the intersection of San Antonio Road and El Camino Real, on the Mountain View/Palo Alto border. The train station is very close, making commuting to campus very easy.
The apartments are spacious and have air conditioning as well as a washer and dryer inside of the unit. Stanford provides wireless internet and utilities. Stanford does not provide cable television, telephone, or cost of laundry.
If you are assigned here and are interested in housing on campus, please file a reassignment request. The reassignment request form can be found within the Housing and Dining section of Axess under the tab “Apply for Reassignment." There is no fee to be reassigned to on-campus housing and assignments are made based on the date you submit your reassignment request.
Sublicensing is not permitted within off-campus subsidized apartments.
