Overview

Southwood Apartments are available as a full-year option for both single graduate students and couples without children students. Single graduate students are assigned to two-bedroom units. Couples without Children are assigned to one-bedroom units. Both options are furnished by the University.

Southwood apartments in Palo Alto offer nearby golf courses, tennis courts, and bike paths. Their newly-renovated homes feature energy-efficient appliances, upgraded cabinetry and brand-new flooring, as well as an in-home washer and dryer and spacious closets. Residents of Southwood apartments in Palo Alto can relax in the pool and spa. They are convenient to US-101, Stanford University, and the San Francisco Bay.

Furnished by the University, each two-bedroom apartment houses two students while each one-bedroom apartment houses one couple without children.

The apartments are spacious and have wall to wall carpeting. Each apartment has one assigned space in either in the garage or under the car port. Stanford provides wireless DSL and utilities. Stanford does not provide cable television, telephone, or cost of laundry.

If you are assigned here and are interested in housing on campus, please file a reassignment request. The reassignment request form can be found within the Housing and Dining section of Axess under the tab 'Apply for Reassignment'. There is no fee to be reassigned to on-campus housing and assignments are made based on the date you submit your reassignment request.

Sublicensing is not permitted within off-campus subsidized apartments.
