We are excited to announce upcoming iBooks training sessions. Following the response to our last seminar, we have created 3 sessions to accommodate the variance in schedules especially as we near the end of quarter. The purpose of this session will be to introduce users to the recently released Apple iBooks publishing application.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to create any templates they need for their iBooks, and even begin adding content if they already have the text and multimedia elements including images, video and audio files. This will be a hands-on, guided practice starting with how to set up the iBooks Author app on the Mac Computers, as well as setting up an account to publish on the Apple Store using iTunes Producer app.
We will explore the two-step process of:
- Creating an e-book using iBooks Author
- Preparing the book using iTunes Producer and submission to the Apple Store, including a highlight of some stumbling blocks likely to surface during this process.
Please respond to the one-question survey below (it is a Stanford site, and we are not asking for your information) indicating the session that you plan to attend. If none works for you, suggest a different time/date and we will consider it based on number of requests. Please feel free to share this flyer with colleagues outside SULAIR.
