Concierge 17: Toward a Combined Science Library
January 27th & 28th

SSRC

Changes are happening among the Science and Engineering Libraries (again!). Attend this concierge session to learn about the changes that just occurred affecting the Mathematics & Statistics Library and the Biology Library and the overall planning for the Summer 2016 opening of the combined science library (Mathematics & Statistics, Biology, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering) in the "Old Chem" building.

Presentations by Bob Schwarzwalder, Michael Newman and Linda Yamamoto will be followed by a tour of the combined Math/Stat and Biology Libraries.  Additional sessions on the Combined Science Library planning will be included in future Library Concierge Program events.

This session is of particular interest to reference, circulation and all public service as well as technical service personnel; however, all SUL and coordinate library staff are welcome to attend.

Each session is limited to 40 participants. Visit the CourseWork Library Concierge site and click Sign-up on the left menu to select a time slot.  The 30-minute presentation in the SSRC will be followed by a tour of the combined Math/Stat and Biology Libraries.

  • January 27: 10:00-11:00 am
  • January 28: 1:00- 2:00 pm

These sessions will not be recorded.

Visit the CourseWork Library Concierge site for more details.  If you are not a member of the CourseWork Library Concierge site or you are not able to sign-up for a session, send an email to:sulair-cpag@lists.stanford.edu
